A .22 is about the only thing I stand a chance with competetivly against my uncle.

He's had a little too much training through the navy at long distance ;) I get a .22 in his hands and it's game on :D

Years ago I was with my brother and one of his friends coming back from skeet shooting at the range in the national forest. My brothers friend had a neon pink water pistol that my brother jokingly gave him because he wasn't old enough to buy a gun. He filled it with water and was shooting us with it to annoy us. Someone we passed saw him with the gun in his hand ( it's neon pink mind you ) and called 911 and reported a bunch of teenagers firing machine guns at street signs out of the car windows as we drove by. SSSSSSSoooooooooo about half way home we hear sirens blaring , I turn to look and there was at least 10 cop cars behind us. Told my brother I think they are after us. So he pulled over , then we were literally yanked out of the car by 20 or so officers with gun's drawn. I spent 15 minutes laying face down on hot ass asphalt in the middle of a major highway ( 460 for those around here ) with Barney Fife standing nervously with one foot on the back of my neck , and his gun pointed directly at my head. I don't mess with the cops around here, these crack head sob's are just itching for a reason to shoot somebody. :(

wow. WOW!

did they buy you lunch? I would have freaked.

Hell no

I even had to go to court to get my browning citori back that they confiscated :(

I can't exactly conceal my firearms, they are all of the rifle/shotgun type.

My best friend and I would eventually like to pick up a barrett model 99 .50 caliber rifle. I already shoot the mile.

http://www.barrettrifles.com/rifle_99.aspx

I had a model 95 for a while I picked up in an estate sale. Good lord that thing was a beast . I shot a couple ground hogs at about 3/4 of a mile with it once. There was nothing left :D Watched my uncle split bowling pins at 1000 yds with it open sights :o I ended up selling it because I had no where to shoot it, and $35 a shell was a little too pricy for plinking :)

$35 bucks a round?????!!!!????

Doesn't it shoot the .50 BMG? Am I crazy and misread that the million times I drooled over the barrett?

Locally they were $35 a round for new , $22 for re loads. They may have come down some in price. But it's still not touching the 97 cents for a box of 50 22's :)

Wow Ramos, I am freaking sorry to hear that. But I know all to well about the police down there.

Anyway, Amanda and I are thinking about moving down in towards Baltimore much more and renting out our house. So with all this gun talk and the way the Gov. and Mayor could careless about the crime rate and savages that run the streets in the city, I might have to consider a gun down the road. It would be fun to have a PP7. ;)

Best best of, my ass. There hasn't been a single best of album worth a shit IMO. Just a radio amalgamation of a bunch of crap that sold records and has nothing to do with good music :(

well, no trout. But we saw one in the water when we were walking in. The wind was in our face at that point though so couldn't really fish from there. we did catch about 10 bluegill, though, so it wasn't a total waste of time. even if they were all as small as your hand :). The gf caught her first fish in probably 15 years, so she was happy. I really wanted a trout, though. :(
