Congrats Brother!

Been married, just finally did the big schindig. I kind of kept it under the radar, as I have slowly put less of my personal life in public on line.

Question on a custom grill...

Would it be advantageous on a custom grill setup (using wood) to be able to quench it with CO2 when done grilling and therefore the next time you would have the wood already in a good state, just relight?

I don't know shit about grills, just been thinking about this. It seems to me when using wood to grill when you get everything like you want it, you cook your food, then it just slowly burns out but if you could just put it out, then relight it next time...

Opinions on how stupid this idea is?

Not so stupid, I like the idea although having vents that actually seal does about the same thing. Mine goes out in about 2 minutes once the vents are closed.

yay for Rock's birthday!

topgun- your grill inquiry is....interesting. I'm sure you could do it. I've always just used charcoal when grilling though (which I'm beginning to dislike because of the time involved, and why not just use gas? Much cheaper too). I guess M5 has it covered

Hmmm, I'm trying to figure out what kind of speakers I am going to put on the side of this TV cart that I'm am building at work... Isn't tall enough for a line array, don't want a standard 2-way boring thing sticking out there.. I'm thinking something like a 6" in a folded transmission line, but I'm not sure.

Tractrix horns.

Come up with a way to fab 'em up and I'll take two :D

For some reason I thought you were younger. No idea why. A little closer to my age.

and the money part. gettin hitched is spendy!

The markup is fun ;)

Although photographers are much more of a racket...even with digital stuff most of them send it out to be cleaned up and finished, and you feed them on top of it :P

dinner for 100 people+ at 50 bucks a plate at an all inclusive place. =P

The potography.. yeah. You pay only for skill there. and you pay good.

I'm trying to talk the woman into letting me buy a house with a ton of land so we can host the wedding and spend the money on the honeymoon and the house!

=)

Weddings are just a furrious PITA.

I've never seen that done with such a stock looking newer car. Seen plenty of classic muscle go up like that, but never something so new looking.

Mmmmm, I think I got beef fajita seasoning down pat. Now all I need is a grill to bring out their true potential...

50 a plate is a pretty good deal, at least compared to what the rates are here :)

Our photographer was a little pricey, but he is on a different level and takes very non-traditional shots, and lets you have the disk of originals. We paid for 4-5 hours, he stayed for 11.5 and took hundreds of pictures.

Sean, as I have not payed enough attention as to the goings on at DIYma, just post in a few relevant threads for the heck of it, maybe the change or downward turn will be good for SSA. ;)

I'd definitely buy a house with land. bass pond in the backyard!

I'm very much hoping whenever (if ever) I get married it will be very small. like.....10 people. But I'm positive my gf of two years has a very different idea in her head of what she'd want. sigh.

my GF wants a small wedding, but my close family is 30+ people. Hers is similar if not larger.

When you think back I'm pretty sure you will want people you care about there.

lots of Camaros can do that as well

the Trans-Am's and Camaro's drive trains are exactly the same

I supose you're right. I have seen a good number of camaros do that.

I just have a thing against poniac for some reason. I cam close plenty of times to buying one of the top model trans ams, but something about pontiac.... For no good reason it reminds me of white trash.
