Welcome to the IHoP

Went to Dillons last night too, had to get some groceries. I had been drinking so that made the trip all the more enjoyable... Walk in and the roomie grabs a cart and they have a drink holder on the top of it. I see this and immediately comment "Oh Sweet, they even give me a place to put my beer!" :)

There was an older redneck looking fella that was walking in front of us and as soon as I said that he busted up laughing and ducked down an isle to stop from laughing at me. :)

The roomie found it quite hilarious.

There's a good article on Audiojunkies about power and how it relates to speaker damage. Saw something similar on ForceAudio a long time ago.

Looks like I may be attending the Polaks' Summer Party tomorrow.... Some polish guys down the street are throwing a party. We will see how that turns out lol. Also going to the beach tomorrow evening, should shape up to be a nice weekend.

Time for bed. Was hoping to get some descent sleep but this damn CC delima screwed that up

Polacks can usually drink.

I'm half Polish and I can't drink worth a shit

Dropped off the rent checks last night then got sidetracked for 45min because the landlord had his '56 'Vette there so he had to show me and my roommate who is a 'vette fanatic. It is almost all original, and in awesome shape, I was quite surprised.

mmm, purdy :)

Hmmm, I'm trying to figure out what kind of speakers I am going to put on the side of this TV cart that I'm am building at work... Isn't tall enough for a line array, don't want a standard 2-way boring thing sticking out there.. I'm thinking something like a 6" in a folded transmission line, but I'm not sure.

Question on a custom grill...

Would it be advantageous on a custom grill setup (using wood) to be able to quench it with CO2 when done grilling and therefore the next time you would have the wood already in a good state, just relight?

I don't know shit about grills, just been thinking about this. It seems to me when using wood to grill when you get everything like you want it, you cook your food, then it just slowly burns out but if you could just put it out, then relight it next time...

Opinions on how stupid this idea is?
