hell, I've even got a shit ton of 10" pa speakers and whatnot to play with, along with 4kw of pro amp power, and a DCX unit I would bring. :)

Kind of an odd question, but I figured I'd ask before I did this.

Sean. Would engraving on a laptop casing have any adverse affects to the HDD or anything? I'm not sure if the vibration is enough to do anything or not?

Its a Thinkpad T61p, and I get it replaced if I break it but thought I'd ask before I did it.

The Chevelle isn't up for a road trip. I will completely redo the brakes before it makes a road trip that far, putting the AC back in it would be nice too.

I have a feeling when I make a true road trip in a Chevelle will be when I own my own, whether it is Dad's current one, or a different one who knows.

But yea, that trunk is fricking HUGE! You could fit a half dozen bodies in that thing.

Laptop hardrives have pretty severe shock specs, they are "meant" to withstand rather large drops.

I figured they were, I'll hit this thing up with the engraver at work tomorrow then to put my name/phone in there.

Anyone have a way of making a clipped sine signal in a waveform? Being able to adjust the amount of clipping would be great as I'd like to be able to generate spectral views of the signal based on various amounts of clipping. Preferrably a fully generated waveform and not measured so it is clean. I have played around with Cooledit to no avail.

Basically somethign like a 1v sine wave that I could put a voltage filter on would be teh perfect. Virtually anyways.

Bottom of it, probably the center/front of it.
