I never had it over 160 .

Okay, I now view you as a crazy man. This is just an absurd speed in that vehicle. Mine got floaty around 85. Of course I didn't have the suspension of the SHO or any of the aerodynamic stuff, but damn, that is just crazy.

Not only that mine had nothing stock on it suspension wise anyways. I never held that speed, but it got there really quickly.

What car was is again ?

I googled Ford SHO v6 but didn't get anything clear..

The fast one I had was a 1990 Ford Taurus SHO, with a laundry list of mods including a supercharger.

FWD. Blasphemy ? :P

Totally

Tell me what you could buy in 1994 for not that much dough that had four doors and could haul customers around that wasn't fwd. Even the E28 bm'ers weren't affordable then. The SHO's were great cars, albeit fwd which is retarded.

At least it was the first real equal shaft length fwd with minimal torque steer. Still even with the Quaife traction wasn't its forte and boo understeer.

what did it do to have equal length shafts? the turbo dodges through the 80s all had equal length shafts but used an intermediate shaft on the long side

SHO = super high output

Ford 3.0L bottom end, Yamaha designed top end.

And Matt, drive an old fwd with completely different sized shafts hit the gas without your hands on the wheel and in the ditch you will go.

so...meeting min-ji's family went rather well.

I walk in to a house of 20 koreans ranging from 50'ish years old to two years old. Enough food to feed a large army, and crown royal to keep them happy. Within two minutes i was given a seat, a glass of alcohol and the table in front of me was covered in food. if my glass got even half empty it was filled again and i got yelled at if i even tried to stand up to get something myself.

yea the dodge's had quite a bit of torque steer even with the equal lengths(not nearly as bad as unequals though) but i was wondering if the SHO accomplished it in a different way. i always thought the intermediate shaft was a half assed way to acheive the desired goal.
