Welcome to the IHoP

Also, I found out the other day, my car has a factory block heater.(I think)

I was looking and found a 120v plug in. Thats the only thing I can really figure.

Check the freeze plugs, and you never said what your problem was.

Do you really want me to explain exactly what is wrong with my car?

That's why I asked. I happen to know a thing or two about Mustangs.

First off it has a hanging idle problem. Alot of explaining here, things I've tried and its not worked.

Left HEGO(o2) sensor runs lean, only at highway speeds.

some other sensor is bad. Coolant temp. Don't know the exact name tho.

Year and model please.

1994. GT.

Shoot me an email and tell me everything you can. [email protected]

I have AIM, but I'm rarely on, and getting ready to go to bed, so email is best. If you haven't already done so, pull your Idle Air control valve off and clean it with brake cleaner for me.

thanks Ryan.

What did I do?

you were helpful; however, after a little more research I think I need a more involved test than Sears can provide since I have a well. If it were city water it'd be fine.

I mean it can wait till another day.

Its not my daily driver.

I'd rather talk back and forth, so you truly understand me.

What is your flow rate? Do you have a storage tank in the basement or buried in the yard?

Basement, not sure on the flow but it is a big arse tank and I believe a 2hp well motor.

Its a nice car to ride/drive in, original 396/325hp so its not exactly fast but it does get out of its own way. Needless to say I'm smart enough not to go try and drag race it, I have a pretty good idea on how many new factory cars would beat it/give a run for its money, and its a lot.

I just love driving it, it handles great, awesome throttle response, decent brakes, drives straight, etc, etc. I just can't figure out why I haven't driven a car that I enjoy driving as much as the Chevelle, I've driven lots faster cars, just not one thats as nice to drive.

Its Olympic Gold with black stripes down the side, looks pretty nice still too. There are a few pictures floating around the site if you are good with the search function.

Its hard to beat a bigass car, comfy (to me) seat, big block, no radio, and the windows rolled down.

Speaking of throttles, I througly despise the gas pedal in our '04 Chevy 2500HD w/ the 6.0L. It must be a electronic? setup on the throttle because it is the most lifeless pedal EVER.

Picture of it in a parking lot, and a short video from 20-90 of the speedo. I think you can hear the car, I had the window down for you Tom. :)
