Ahh, not my definition of Hustle for money, but I got ya.

I just made some easy money the other day doing crown molding for a professor sunday, also have to do some more trim for him, and do a ceiling too. Easy money, he pays me well, feeds me, has decent tools, and free beer. Great setup. :)

Sweet.

Most of the time my side jobs pay ~20 bucks a hour. Which I really like. Its aggravating work, no doubt but worth it in my eyes.

On this day in 1999, Infosys became the first Indian company listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange. In 1996, the EU Database Directive passed. And in 1845, British citizen Henry Jones invented self-raising flour. Happy Birthday actor Johnny Knoxville (1971), singer Lisa Loeb (1968), director Jerry Zucker (1950), entrepreneur Rupert Murdoch (1931) and bandleader Lawrence Welk (1903-1992). RIP inventor Philo T. Farnsworth (d. 1971), explorer Admiral Richard E. Byrd (1957), meat packer Oscar Mayer (1955) and agronomist Johnny Appleseed (1847).

Tom, I passed a '68 Z28 I believe yesterday. Could not pull the cell camera up in time. But I do spy a W124 in your pictures. There is a reason they are still all over the place, both in the USA and Europe. ;)

nice! glad to see someone driving it

W124?

i am eager to see one and drive it. same with the challanger. i wish they were here already!

now i have to decide which 4" .44mag revolver will find itself a new home at my house. colt or smith, maybe a ruger. colt is on the high side of the price range, smiths are very well built and rugers are nice, and on the lower side. stainless of blue? wood or synthetics? man, just too many options!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

I still don't get why film cameras are so damn expensive, still.

Can't even touch a Leica rangefinder for under $600, same with a Rollei TLR...should never have sold the Contax for what I sold it for :(

Speaking of Ruger pistols, my roommate broke his Mark III 22/45 the other day, I'm pretty sure he assembled it wrong and bent something, but I haven't looked at it yet and not sure if I care to.

I had an A-1, loved it...prime lenses were dirt cheap but they focused tack-sharp...

What I really need to find is someone cleaning out their closet of a 4"x5" view camera they'll let go for like...tree fiddy and a bucken of chicken :D

Hmm, what to drink tonight, I'm in the mood for something different.

Anyone try that Cuervo black? I'm usually not a straight tequila kind of person, but I've never had that, so...

wow. those are some of the sturdiest, most durable .22 semi autos going. they haven't changed that basic design since like 196something. save for the 1911 grip angle and shape on the 22/45.

what did he say was wrong with it? not sure how one could even assemble it the wrong way.

i almost bought a magnum research mountain eagle .22lr, but talk about a cheap feeling firearm, wowsers!!

I think what he did was the floating pin on the backside that you have to tip the gun at the correct angle in order to put the bolt retainer pin in (that last piece that holds the bolt in), I think he forced it together and bent that or something along those lines. If you held it normal it wouldn't latch the firing pin back correctly and function right (you could rack the slide, but the firing pin wouldn't cock), but if you held it upside down (I think it was..) it would work correctly.

Personally I think they screwed it up. Funny that one has a trailer hitch. :D
