Hopefully by paying cash for the car I get in the next couple months will be enough pull to get the salesman to move a little bit. I want a car cover and a set of winter tires, too.

Cash can actually sometimes hurt the negotiation as they make money in finance. I'd actually tell them you plan to finance with them and when it comes time in finance pay cash. What will make the salesman move is to be firm with your offers and 100% prepared to walk away if you don't get the deal you want. 9 out of 10 car deals I make, I get up to leave at least 2x in the process of negotiating.

So I am guessing that the money made financing through them goes higher up than anyone concerned with cutting me a deal (dealership included) ...

It had a T as well :D

Always loved the 944's. Part of the reason I went with the XR4Ti. It was the poor man's 944 Turbo.

I have been listening to M.I.A. - Paper Planes way too much lately.

Pineapple Express should be a good movie. :)

as awful as it may be, the stereotypes about asian are so damn true. this girl works more in a day than i do in a week.

goes in to class like 2hrs early every day.

but god i love it when she calls me "inefficient roundeye!"

Well it is another way for them to make money. If you pay cash they get the same amount if you write the check, another bank writes the check, or a credit union writes the check. If they finance, you might get approved for 5% and they charge you 6.5% (as an example) guess where that extra 1.5% goes?

Just got through reading Obama's economic policy. Sounds almost identical to Clinton's, :suicide-santa:

I need to start taking some pictures of all the shit I build at work... We just got done running 5" ducting to three ovens for ventilation in the asphalt lab, looks pretty good for a couple of farm kids who didn't have an idea wtf they are doing. :)

Side note, I think I've found a pre-amp with XLR outputs. The NAD 116. I hope the auction isn't going to end to high and I can pick it up :D

Just found out the new amp has a buit-in subwoofer crossover so I'm going to have a small space available in the rack and I'm thinking about picking up a phonic max 500 to power the mains :D

chicks are too expensive

on a positive note, while at the flower shop to pick up the roses, the owner(friend that used to work with me at gap) totally noticed me checking out her boobs. They're fake as hell but not like i give a damn. She's very proud of them anyway so it's not like she was offended, but they had a rare(ish) orchid behind the desk and i asked if it was real, she replied

"these? (grabbing and lifting her boobs) nooo but thanks for noticing"

So at work today a guy was completely in shock when I said I was going to be building a 6ft. tall box for a 4 in. speaker. I didn't think I was going to have any way of explaining myself :D

Believe me, don't even try. Tell them to shut up and invite them to come over when they are finished. :)
