I haven't even popped the hood on mine to look yet. Little pools, but it takes a good 4 weeks or so before the low fluid light comes on.

I agree with you, on both points.

I am surprised, pleasantly so as well.

Indeed. That's the only reason I even mentioned it.

EC -- 2002 Z71 1500 4x4 5.3L

Just turned 103k today and everything is pretty much starting to come apart. :(

That's too bad :(

I guess that is to be expected, though.

The woman had me stop at Lifetime today to look at eliiptical machines, in the process the dude really pushed the new Hoist v6

http://www.hoistfitness.com/products/consu...c=1&pid=426

His sales pitch was effective, in particular when he offered to include one for only 1k with the elliptical machine.

I can almost complete a quality, full body workout on one of those dual cable machines. To be completely honest, 1k is pretty steep for that setup. A system like that should be priced around $650-$900.

But in all reality, a store could charge up to $2500 and still sell that product. Is it worth $1000? Yes. Does it consist of $1000 worth of parts? No.

Juse like the GM crap I own. Pay $45,000+ for $2500 worth of parts.

on the topic of cars, the list I currently want and have a plan for:

1967 Impala 2drht

1991-1996 Caprice

1960 Impala 4drht

I used to have a 68 Imp 2drht

you did? when?

surprised you'd own a GM

It was the car that made me swear off GM stuff. Now the truck is, every 15 years I make the same mistake I guess. :(

What was wrong with it?

Generally, GMs from that era are the ones I'd trust the most.

Never have had anything go wrong with our GM trucks other than the radiators springing a leak. Cheapass designed part for sure...

dunno about the new Silverados but the 88-98 trucks have a radiator with two little plastic end tanks on either side. They seem to leak at the metal/plastic joint rather easily...

That's what just went on my Impala a couple weeks ago, 134k miles

Damn, the prototype was so sexy but the real deal is NOT.

http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-dodge-challenger-srt8-4/

Maybe I need to compare them side by side, but the only real differences I see is that the roof line looks more squared and they cut a bunch off the ass end

note, these changes do make the rear half of the car look retarded.

we have had hell with my moms 99' chevy venture(mini-van)

a/c problems one after another

and not to mention somethin messed up with the engine and it seazed up if i recall. and we got it replaced.

and not to mention electrical problems that weren't vital to the car but went out and were sort of an inconvience.

need less to say that car will be out of the family soon. and will be replaced with either a nissan or a toyota. Most likely a nissan.

cuz my family now has a 02' frontier, 98' maxima(mine :), 99' altima, and my bro is still driving around our 92' saturn that has over 300k! probably one of the best cars we have owned!
