Neil and Adrian, since you are not US citizens, who would you vote for in the US presidential race?

Unfortunately I haven't read too much about the elections or seen tv reports, except a very short one, a few hours ago.

Seems interesting to have a black candidate (no racist intentions here) and a female candidate.

I don't know where I read about Hillary using people to get in this position and that would affect my choice.

Tough call, Aaron. I'm a fiscal conservative but a social liberal. I like some of the things the Dems have been saying because they're the typical "feel good" bs but I just worry that all they are talking about is throwing a ton of money out the window.

On the other hand, I have a hard time consciously accepting many of the Republican candidates.

I didn't mind Edwards when he was running but there's still that fiscal problem...

It sounds crazy, but people like Ron Paul are almost viable because their wild streaks are easily tamed in the White House when the senate disagrees. At the same time, I don't know if the senate is ready for a President who wants to reshape most of the financial policies.

As far as what impacts me here at home, can we get Bush in there again? That's been nothing but great for us up North.

McCain is a Luddite

Obama is a stooge

Romney's a bigot

Huckabee's a racist bigot

Kucinich wants to ban handguns

Guiliani seems to have PTSD

Hilary....well she's Hilary for god's sake...

They all suck...

(yes I will vote for Ron Paul, probably the only politician in my lifetime who I'll agree with on the vast majority of issues)

Thanks for the replies. Was curious. I am somewhat like you Neil on life in that matter, grew up a child of worldly traveled, very well educated parents, now I am married with a child and own a small business. It is very difficult, I have seen the failures of this administration (not SSA, federal), but I also live in a crazy distorted democrat biased state (much like Mass.), and I am paying dearly for the ultra expensive actions and mistakes of the current democrat governor and city mayor. Both followed the Bill Clinton model, use and abuse where you are to get to the next level, lying at every possible corner to get more power. Maybe there needs to be a constitutional amendment so Arnold can get elected. ;)

If that were possible, radical countries would be fearful of our willingness to use deadly force. Also obesity and health would be seriously approached. ;)

Paul has the ability to say some really astute things and also some things that scare the living bejeezus out of me.

He'd go a long way to getting my vote if he'd somehow explain how he's supposedly for personal freedom yet opposes abortion, and how far he'd take religion into the government...

It's strange, aside from those two issues I pretty much agree with everything he has to say...

As far as I can tell he wants the individudal state governments to decide for themselves on abortion issues. At least thats the gist of what I got out of his "We The People Act" he introduced...

I didn't think anything more than 2GB of RAM worked on XP...pretty sure you have to upgrade to Vista to use that extra 1GB.

Could be wrong, though.

There is a block after something like 3.2gig to almost 4gig to my knowledge.

I love the fact I can still get Win XP Pro on a IBM laptop instead of Vista.
