Welcome to the IHoP

Recommended Posts

It took off.

what a fuckin' surprise

I'm waiting to see if a guy on another forum has the nuts to speak again after the show. He was calling me every name in the book leading up to the episode because "Duh, the plane won't fly!"

He also had a mystery group of engineers at Boeing on speed dial that said the plane will never fly. I asked for their phone # but he never came through. :(

Wow, people are special. A whole bunch from CA.com just got a little vacation ;)

If anyone is interested in my method of painting for speakers/steel I'll be painting some MTM's here in a week or two and I can take some photos and do a small write up on it. Not very hard, uses rustoleum paint, cheap, and looks good.

Please do. Painting mdf still puzzles me :(

pucking seller. He charged me $89.50 for shipping. The papers on the package clearly say $47.50 and usps seems to charge around $90 for 22lbs. The package wasn't even 20lbs so this means I want a refund. I have no problems if they over-charge $15-20, but this is ridiculous.

Have you tried the Deft wood sealer ? That chit is the end all be all for painting mdf, three coats, lightly sand it, couple more coats, another light sanding and the mdf is like glass :)

*mini rant*

I'm getting tired of nut huggers. I here and see people jumping on peoples nut sacks proclaiming them gods of fabrication and what not. Then when someone else does something a different way, yet they achieve the same results. They are labeled as hacks because they didn't do something the way the "gods" did. Am I missing something? Does it matter how billy bob does something, as long as the end results are satisfactory? Isn't that what fabrication is all about ? Knowing what you want as a finished product , then "fabricating" it ?

*end of rant*

I was reading a little at the only forum on the net I have been banned from, couldn't remember why I didn't like the place. Now I remember quite well :(

comes in aerosol cans , no thinning required . It dries fully in about 10 minutes. Just use it in a

WELL ventilated area . :)
