Bloody weak battery in the heep. Dad charged it yesterday and started the car just fine. Now it doesn't even crank.

If it won't start after 30 mins of charging, I'm buying jumper cables. 1/0 of course.

With the advent of all the pc controlled shit in cars they both scare me a bit regrettably--but that really holds for all new cars, the Cadillac has less cpu control but what they use I trust less since the general is in charge. I do find the Bm'er a lot more enjoyable to drive, it makes the transition from beating on it to civilized daily driver amazingly well. I would expect the longevity of the BM'er to destroy the Cadillac too. The whole IRS is a bit shady on it and can't take even mild power adders which doesn't bold well for it holding out in the long run. On the other side, if you part with your cars before they hit any serious mileage and don't abuse the chit out of them I think both would probably be fine. They are both fun to drive, the Cadillac just isn't nearly as refined as the BM'er...not even close.

I'm going to keep it completely stock and not beat the crap out of it. I too have heard that the IRS is a weak point. Naturally, I will have to go over both of them top to bottom in person, and I'll do that to the CTS this month. I think there is a CTS-DI at the dealership ... I'll take a look/drive whenever I get the truck in for service.

Take both for a drive back to back and then weigh the wallet...sorry, it hurts to like nice stuff. As the hop heard me admit, I am an elitist and there are HUGE differences between the cars but either one you choose I will respect. Well mostly anyway :D

It's more like "Wow, look at her, I've never seen a real boob before. Let's get drunk and fight each other! Dude, your clothes aren't new enough."

Maybe they actually are smart but you wouldn't know it to hear them talk.

Wear headphones and enjoy the boobs. Problem solved :fing34:

For a university, there sure are a lot of idiots in here.

I think I need to change the way I dress because I look too similar to these characters.

I have a student from each 'group' this semester.

- girl with airport luggage type backpack on wheels

- dressed in all black with tears drawn on their face

- mom of two kids who tries to relate everything I say to the kids and the past 40 years of her life. Always has a question, and never puts her hand down.

- one individual brings a purse, a backpack, a travel bag, an umbrella, and probably their groceries and four other pairs of shoes to every class

- the furious note taker. Frantically pounding away on their laptop trying to get every word down.

- the douchebag who sits at the back of the class and replies to my questions with snide remarks.

- opposite of the douchebag, I call her the General. No matter what I say, this 18 year old apparently has more experience in the field and believes everything I say is wrong.

- Touchy McFeelerson. Can't keep her hands off of me during a conversation.

- a couple individuals who I call "Mr. and Mrs. I did one year of school in Africa and developed my own religion" ... who start every sentence with "When I was in Africa ..."

- bert and ernie who sit in the back of the class and NEVER turn their cell phones to vibrate or off.

- the grade assasin. No matter how I graded the paper or exam, I didn't do it correctly.

- the computer science and math double major. Showers maybe once a week.

- the Texan. I cannot understand a word you're saying. Quit making your accent thicker than it really is, I have been to the States and know what it sounds like.

- the person who asks questions about the exams on the first day of class. "How many marks? What types of questions? How long do we have?" Read the course outline.

- the cheater ... I'm not an idiot - I know you don't need a TI-83 for a course like HIST 4xxx; and

- the activist. I will build the largest diesel truck I can, just for her.

Ha, that shit amuses the fuck out of me. Now multiply by 10 and you know where I went to school. Actually perhaps you know why I am an elitist dick.

Tonight's supper.... lake trout, straight from a deep northern lake, yellow, green & red peppers, lemon slices, mushrooms. Pepper seasoned, and baked to perfection. Served over a mound of steamed brown rice.

Cocksuckker, my favorite fish but only from pure waters and less than a couple pounds. Yummy!!

I'm sure DigiKey has eighty million different colors and sizes :P

Have you read any tutorials on it? Seems fairly easy ... I am just trying to remember where I last seen one written up nicely.

Running aroudn the digikey "plant" is fun. Right in the middle of nowhere though...Thief River Falls ???

No, but that is cheap and you will hate yourself later if you don't

Alrighty, I'll investigate this further then.

To be honest, I'm sure you'd be just fine with regular LEDs.

have to figure out what size and where to get 'em though

good place to start

1 pound fillets, and you can get too much more pure than our northern lakes, I'm sure you know that :cookiemonster:

Even with a couple options added, they both fit comfortably in the budget. We've been looking for a couple years, the past one year very seriously at something fullsize, safe, in the budget, practical, well-rounded, good on the highway, able to handle harsh winters, and something that isn't going to have major problems in a year or two in which I have to shell out big bucks. This is why I am a little hesitant to get another GM ...

If I don't get the BMW, I'm in big trouble ... :P

wow, the pucking "buildhouse" sure has some idiotic customer service.

I ask for some prices and they ask me if I'm going to buy 300 of each of the items i requested a price for.
