Welcome to the IHoP

I hate to give generic recommendations, most people starting out with wines like wimpy ones but gradually start to like more full bodied more detailed wines. Sort of like an audio noob going from sub only to a nice front stage, except in wine there are more varieties of grapes than there are speakers available. Then with each variety of grape there are hundreds of vineyards all with very different prodcuts.

Under 50-60 bucks for a couple bottles maybe? I don't even know how much a decent wine bottle costs. Consider me a complete n00b.

The consensus of everyone else that I am eating with was Ryan loves booze, put him in charge of wine.

Do you want a mixture of whites / reds?

The next question is where you live is there much of a liquor store with a wine selection? Redneck stores tend to cater to the wrong crowd and will have to make recommendations appropriately.

Actually, there are two liquor stores that have a decent election of wine (I think it looks like a decent one anyways). I'd say mixture of white and red, 15-20$ per bottle price.

Ryan1: How good are the '96 Cobras with the 4.6L 32v engine with the 5spd? A friend of mine just picked one up and I'm curious about how fast they actually are, no real mods that I know of either.

Not a problem, I realize you have to ask questions in order to form a baseline to give recomendations off of. :)

They are fun to drive but the standard GT in 99 IIRC has more power.
