Catch a Celtics game when you're in Boston. Ridiculous they are.

There is a really cool company in Minneapolis called Orfield Labs. I had never heard of them before but they have the world's quietest anechoic chamber and had the world's first digital recording studio. If we do this meet thing at Sean's house, I'm going to head over there and see if I can sit in the chamber for 60 minutes. Apparently most people can't do more than 15 minutes. Would like to get over there and do an interview for AudioJunkies. Mind you, I might go anyways even if we don't have a big get together.

you mean 60 minutes of dead silence? Hell, I would pay for 60 minutes of dead silence

I'm not even sure that the previous statement covers the entirety of my lack of love for class in general.

If I could just make custom home audio speakers all day, sit on a comfortable couch in the evening and enjoy quality beer, I would be a very, very, very happy man.

I want to spend all day slaving away in a woodshop making my own creation then sit down in the evening, relax, drink a beer, have sex, and go to bed.

That is it.

No. Home audio is an investment. :)

It's never an investment for a goober like me who won't ever sell his chit

I just need to get a degree in business or something, then open up my own custom woodshop like I want to and call it good.

I'm looking at the GTP-400 and its like 20 years old and barely in my price range. I guess maybe my budget is too low and expectations too high

Current state, about 400 bucks, finished and pretty, 750.

*Finished and pretty means sanding, crossover finished and on the inside, little more stuffing work, 3 coats of poly then painted to your spec*

Oh, the only way for shipping to occur is truck freight. If you have a full sized truck I could drive part way and meet you. Zipcode 66502
