The idea of a CA.com meet kind of scares me, in all honesty.

There are a lot of people on there I definitely don't want to meet, even be in the same state as.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours. However, I get a long with a lot of the people in the jello and crunk thread and if they lived near me I'm sure we could all be good friends. I'm not saying any of those guys are meeting me in Tulsa but there's one guy that seems pretty cool.

SSA sure doesn't ever have any meets *cough* *cough*

There's been 2 California ones, multiple Arizona ones, and tons of Virginia ones....

and every time Sean goes somewhere and meets someone

I wish I wasn't so far away from the California/Arizona meets. One year I want to try to make it down to a major car show in the summer in either state.

WEST HAVEN, Utah (AP) - Eight cows escaped from a trailer when the rear gate opened as the driver pulled into a McDonald's. It took about two hours to round them up yesterday.

The roundup was called "Operation Hamburger Helper." A nearby resident even hopped on his horse. Wayne Sanders says he couldn't believe the sight. He was at a truck stop next door when it happened. He says the cows probably weighed 800 pounds were on a good trot.

I recommend either Goodguys Southwest Nationals here this weekend, or Barrett-Jackson in January

summer is not a good time....

Catch a Celtics game when you're in Boston. Ridiculous they are.

There is a really cool company in Minneapolis called Orfield Labs. I had never heard of them before but they have the world's quietest anechoic chamber and had the world's first digital recording studio. If we do this meet thing at Sean's house, I'm going to head over there and see if I can sit in the chamber for 60 minutes. Apparently most people can't do more than 15 minutes. Would like to get over there and do an interview for AudioJunkies. Mind you, I might go anyways even if we don't have a big get together.

The e-mails I get sometimes, honestly what the hell

I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.

When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?" Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one. And in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response. "Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."

I wondered that, too. Orfield Labs does testing for companies like Seagate and WD, so I thought they might be familiar with each other.

I have been in that room more than a few times. Actually as you can imagine measuring below -8dB creates quite a challenge as you are fighting the noise floor of the microphones. We had to use two to even measure low enough. Oh, they recorded Funkytown there as well.

It seems very intriguing. I really, really want to get in there. They have quite a wide range of clients.

Beware Neil, Steve Orfield is an ass. He had two cool assistants, Dave Berg and Derrick Knight but scared them away. Currently I am not sure who is even doing his acoustic work. Last real contact for me was nearly 2 years ago. If you do want to come up and can probably help get you a visit. ;)
