Traveling through two time zones, therefore pushing the clock back two hours you could in actuality fit 26hrs in a day.

he would be going the wrong direction though, but at least the ride home would be shorter :D

Ok, 2+2=5.

Say you have two people on one side of the table, two people on the other side.

They are having a discussion over the solution to a problem. Each person has their own idea so that is four separate ideas, no one likes each others ideas so they comprimise and come up with one idea that works for everyone. We learned along time ago that something can't spawn from nothing. What happens to the original ideas? They don't go away, you don't forget about them, they don't' cease to exist, so they have to be counted. How about the new one? You still have to count that one since it is being used.

Therefore 2+2=5.

each person would carry their fraction of the compromise idea so it would be 4 * 1.25 =5

If we assume that two were women, it would be 2.25+2.25+.25+.25=5

The house does look very kickass indeed.

An SSA meet/house warming would be close to the definition of kickass. Especially if we had an old car out in the garage to all stand around, drink beer, look at and discuss ideas on. :)

Not so sure that the budget will allow the absorption of a new car as well. This house was a wee bit out of the price range...actually a couple hundo, but they took my low ball so now we will be house poor. I don't think I will mind being house poor in that though :)

Tom: Have you seen anything related to Blazer/S-10 suspension improvement without really lowering it? I'd like to improve the suspension since I do tend to like corners, but I don't want to really lower it since it is a 4x4.

*Side note, one of the cars I'd like to own one day is a lowered 4x4 S-10 blazer with a big block and a power train to stand up to hard 4x4 launches on pavement to really kickass on the street*

Improve as to make it handle (corner) better?

Poly bushings all around

performance shocks

you might be able to find stiffer springs that don't lower it

fast ratio steering box

good tires

stiffer sway bars

Tires first...

They make the biggest difference by far. Perhaps not as extreme on your truck as say my car, but that is the best way to improve your handling.

Day is approaching the end. I hope there are a few packages waiting at the door when I get home.

Depending on the date, I will drive down to see Sean for a house-warming party, especially if there are a few of us going.

I'd be willing to make the trip. But, as of Jan. 1 we'll need passports. I should get on that!

I've got a passport, which is good. Hate that we have to do that, though.

Ya, I have been talking about getting one for a while now. Maybe I'll just pay more & get it done quicker.

Maria!

Say it loud and there's music playing,

Say it soft and it's almost like praying.

West Side Story is just so good.

Sean: If I could get the mounting depth, cutout diam, flange diam, and the distance the wiring terminals are apart. If you could get me those that would be fantastic. :)

Mounting depth 9/16"

Cutout Diameter 1 7/16"

Flange diameter -- flangeless compression fit cup

Terminal distance -- not really applicable as they are wires that come out from under the plastic frame, but nonetheless 1 11/32"

Thanks.

Now this is starting to look like something we can surely plan!!

are we still planning on the summer thing?

If that is a better time...and/or both. So what'll it be?

**shrugs** just saying that that'll probably be the only time I'd be able to drive out there

Absolutely.

You've taken physics Ryan. A better tire will have a higher coefficient of friction which means it will stay put through more forces.

There are other advantages as well such as sidewall stiffness.

From a guy who has below average tires on his truck right now, let me say upgrading your tire is a good way to go.

yea and i don't care how awesome your suspension is, if you have chitty tires it still won't handle for chit.

The only thing I remembered from physics class is that an open tub of BBQ sauce a bumpy road and a short wheelbase vehicle don't mix :turkey:
