lol, no crap. Basically the whole area north of Prince Albert here in Saskactchewan is a big, deep lake cut out of the rock & it all drains through Manitoba.

Southern Saskatchewan is the pits, though. Northern Saskatchewan is quite beautiful, however.

I've never done much travelling in Manitoba aside from what's along the Trans-Canada. But going west....well, no travel I have ever done holds a candle to the Rocky's.

Agreed, the Rockies... rock. Although I really do love the forest & lakes here in the north.

I came from the south part of the province, where there are no trees. Something can be said about the sunsets down there though, out in the middle of the prairie/pasture land & you are really the only human for miles & miles.

I don't ride the bus enough. It makes sense economically and environmentally, plus it gives me more time to read. Always too busy to put aside the extra time it takes to ride the bus to places, though.

Not a whole lot, got an older Tahoe and looking at what to do for the sound system.

You should come check out the audio shop in hays with me sometime. They do some bad ass installs. They also have arc, but at rapeme prices.

I'm thinking about getting a few sets of Z's, think i locked in a good price, but want to make sure.

Thinking 9887 will be playing source duty.

Imo if you are at all competent it is silly to use components when you can go diy with that h/u

Well i'm getting the Z6's for a decent price (i think), i can always choose to run them active down the line.

The main reason for my going this route is the fact that i want a good starting point to judge my likes and dislikes off of. In addition, at the moment i dont have a whole lot of time to be tuning a setup. I figure the headunit will provide me with plenty of headroom in the future, and the comps will sound good ran passively... i can always switch things up in the future. I'm pretty sure i'll at least be able to get what paid for out of these. 460 for the bnib set. I could be very wrong though.

Wow, for $460 you could have some really, really serious DIY drivers. That is a ton of cash to be throwing into a passive set.

hmm, my 3 way cost:

Peerless = $160

NS3 = $40

XT19 = $40

So, 240 total.

My processor cost $500, but I could have went with something MUCH cheaper if I needed to.
