Spawn of Frugel-Horn.

Dammit Jim, I'm thinking something more like Voigt Pipes, not something as complex as the Frugel-Horn stuff.

You and your ideas get me into trouble. :)

The newer Nagoaka-style BVR's that they have posted are cake to build, the more traditional Japanese horns are a buttload of wood, yes.

I don't think Voigts are worth it if you're already at BIB's...the C&C Abby is a perfect example of a Voigt pipe...

Never have, I bought one of the passwords to download all the designs, but I never actually have gotten around to building anything there.

I used one of their amp designs, sure :D Awesome little amp...

Ramos had a Wicked One for a while. Absolutely amazing what that box sounded like for the drivers he used...

I haven't built anything from Decware yet, but a pair of Imp. horns is on the eventual to-do list...

I want Imp horns loaded with 18's. Needless to say I don't have anywhere to put them currently, nor want to move speakers that weigh over 400lbs a piece.

Found out I can get in on a Sears Group discount through a different insurance agent. If I can get insured on the 135i for about $150/month, I'm gonna go for it.

:woot:

I have a perfect spot for them, I'm just trying to figure out how I'd get them upstairs...

Short of a forklift I don't think it'd be possible.

Step one: Get forklift.

Step two: Take out wall.

Step three: Put into room.

Step four: Replace wall.

Just use a rope and a block and tackle setup.

If there is a window at the top of the stairs that makes it reallllly easy using a bucket truck/loader and a rope.

Make a frame that they can sit in with some good quality castors on it so you can move them around the room easy, then make a frame with a block tackle setup on it to hoist them up to take the car out from underneath them, easy to build, not much actual work to move the monsters around and would even be fairly cheap.

I just want to move so I will have a place for anything. The house we are looking at doesn't have any good IB locations, so I may be reduced to boxes :(

Printer is jacked and plans are not big enough to read. Time to go to Kinkos.

Walls are no problem. My parents' house is timberframe; tons of open space. The second floor is almost completely open, because there's no attic there's basically 25 feet of ceiling height to play with from the second floor up. Anything that has a hint of stage height just goes up and up and up and up.

Just use a rope and a block and tackle setup.

That's how we get the Xmas tree up there :)
