it happens, lol.

like sean, i was better going all but unprepared into speechs, imprompto (sp?) was my strong point. i hate preparing speeches, you find way too much info and in no way can squeeze it into the time limit.

I had to plan this one out, otherwise I'd have talked for 20min and not been done... I also had to make it look like I looked up info and cited sources, I don't think they wanted to hear I knew everything off the top of my head.

I got this email today... The guy who sent it is a complete arseho and has his head stuck up his ass but I might go anyways, I'm going to the match they mention, but I suppose I can go early since they will pay for it. :D

If they are paying the standard .49$ a mile that is a 450$+ check... :D

Congratulations on your fine performance at the 2007 National Junior Olympic Championships for 3 Position Air Rifle or Progressive Position Air Pistol in Bowling Green, KY this past July.

You and your coach are invited to attend the Junior Olympic Development Camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC) November 27-28, 2007. I prefer that it be the coach that you (and your team?) work with most closely throughout the year, but will allow your parent to attend if they also coach you and your regular coach is not available. If you have entered college, your college coach is invited.

I will provide airline tickets (or mileage) and dorm housing and meals at the OTC. I will bring you in on Monday November 26. The camp is Nov. 27-28 and you will have the option of traveling home Nov. 29 or staying on for the 3X Air match here (see USA Shooting website) and departing Dec. 2 or 3.

I did some calling around and found out that the people doing the thingy in colorado springs isn't who I thought it was, turns out it won't even benefit me at all. I did find out about one in Ft Benning, GA coming up that I might go to, more the mental side of it which is really what I need, I don't need hardly any on the physical side of the game.

Saw this in the chithole, couldn't help but laugh

"For any substage, you will want a MONO amp. It is one channel and plays low frequencies. "

i think some of the lines "Tim" might have been thinking was in order for the front stage to keep up with the volume on a 18" sub of any brand or style the sub would need to be severley under driven to blend the music properly.

so in order to blend front stage with bass output, 2 15's or 3 12's would be more appropriate when the sub is driven to its max potential.

That is still the greatest statement I have ever heard. :)

damn that's awesome, i say go for it if they're paying you at all.

the guy that's doing the work on my 1911 is urging me to come compete IPSCA(or something like that). Apparently he's pretty good, might be something to get rid of some of this stress i've had lately.

the sad thing is that's not really bad advice over there. if they had anything pumping out full range all the sudden you'd start hearing about how much louder brand X sub is at 150hz. Not to mention I'd hate to see n00bs bridging amps to low loads, they do bad enough with 4-8ohm SVC speakers.

Eh, the thing with the deal at the springs is I'd have to miss a whole week of school, and now that I know who is teaching it, it wouldn't even benefit me that much, if at all. :(

yea, I just got back from a math meeting with my teacher and like 7 other students...

Turns out my teacher has been working out our "review" questions for answers to give to us for two days...

this review consists of 8 questions, that will be very similar to the 8 questions on the test,,,

only problem is, I only have 75 minutes to do those 8 questions tomorrow morning on the test,... the teacher took hours upon hours to solve the practice ones she gave us...
