I should go take a pic real fast of the door I started to take apart yesterday. I found out that there is no way to fit 2 runs of 12 gauge wire through the rubber cable sleeve between the door and the body frame, not to mention I don't have the motivation to pull the dash to get to the grommet to feed the wire through to the door . Not sure what I am going to do to get around it.

So they covered great stuff insulation with body filler ............ boy that should be fun to wrap in suede . I would love to be there when they start tugging and pulling on it

In the chitbox , the grommet wasn't the problem. The molex plugs ( one in the door and one in the body ) were

Crazy problems the engineers have at Molex just producing those parts. Over the years I have done a lot of qc measurements for them, but alas that was mostly before I jumped completely into the world of NVH.
