seems like the stupid delivery driver "didn't find anyone home". and i got no phone call, no note, nothing saying my package is at the warehouse.

one angry phone call and my deadener showed up in 2 hrs.

Looks like you would have to go the route I did in the chitbox mr. denim . I had to pull the doors off :(

Aaron, is the grommet up high or down low it is hard to tell from the pics.

Vaseline and putting it in in reverse usually works.

Aaron, is the grommet up high or down low it is hard to tell from the pics.

Door is mid level, body grommet is up high. But the problem is that it has plastic clips that hold it to the door and the body at the end and they are only large enough in ID to fit the stock tiny gauge wire and no more. :(

Might have to getto it up some how.

Maybe a new hole in the door and the body is the best solution.

Heat up a metal stick and make a new hole in the grommet.....

Still the problem of getting inside access to the body side of the wire tube, means removing the dash.

In the chitbox , the grommet wasn't the problem. The molex plugs ( one in the door and one in the body ) were :(

And here all this time , I thought the idea was to NOT get filler and resin on the carpet . Wtf was I thinking this whole time by making trim panels and stuff :(

I accidently dripped some on my rear seat cushion :(

See if you can thread a weighted string or something through the dash, tie the wire on the end and pull it through.

Makes way more sense for a daily as well

Werd. Buddy of mine is purchasing one of the old big vans (think murals & shit on the sides, bed & table in the back, swivel lounge chairs)... going to do something SPL in it, since it's HUGE & won't be a daily.
