 Aaron.

I think I can guess what Scott is bringing down to test. I wish I could float you my Orion for fun, but I need it. :(

Ya, I'm sure you do know. This is fun, keeping this mysterious.

Well that narrows it down to one of 2 things. Excited either way. Almost enough to make me want to go out and buy an amp, but considering that I already have way more power than needed for me it would be one heck of a way to "waste" some money.

Same here, which is why I'm just looking to "borrow" & pay shipping both ways. If I can't find anything, I'm pretty sure what you have & what I have will be enough to get a good gauge.

4 of us. 2 of my bros, one of their friends & I.

It'll fit... we aren't chics, so we don't need to bring much for 3 days on the road. Especially since I have my trunk back.

I barely fit in your car, can't imagine me & my bro and two others getting very far. Of course, you aren't us.

I'm 6'8", my bro is 6'6", my dad is 6'6", my mothers brothers are both over 6'5" and my wives little brother is 6'9". We look like an uncoordinated basketball team walking down the street together.

Ya, you probably do! lol

My family is me: 6'3, bros: 6'5, 6'4, 6'0 & my parents: 5'9, 5'7

I think I have maybe 2 or 3 cousins (out of 35) that are over 6'0. We don't fit in. Most of my family is under 5'8.

spindles, springs, steering arms, backing plates, and caliper brackets are in

getting springs seated properly is a bitch

Spring compressors never make me feel like they are actually going to do their job. I keep feeling one is going to release on me. Funny since I don't ever really worry about my jack that much.

i didn't use a spring compressor, just a jack under the LCA

but I know what you mean, I'd trust a jack over the compressor too

LOL, like a good pair of slacks. :woot:

Slacks are what women wear, but I usually have them leave them on the floor in my room. :D

Ya, no shit lol. Something I won't do, saw a friend make a mistake doing that and almost got a groin full of spring.

My Spec has ~150ft*lbs right from idle to redline, which in a small car, is very nice.

the Camaro's torque peaks at 1600 rpm, 235 ft*lbs :P

And if you dynoed it today it would probably be 150ft lbs at peak.

Makes the M's 3900lbs seem a bit excessive.

yeah, I figured if the spring were to hit me in the head, my hair would cushion the blow

but really I chained the spring to the LCA
