Contra sweet.

Just a bit of good news on the career side for me. I am one small order away from the goal I set for myself for the whole year, which by the way was 70% more than the territory had ever done. That order comes next week which makes me done for the year.

I also had a hell of a nice one on one with my boss and perhaps am one step away now from being the National Sales Director instead of just a Regional. It will be a two step process, but everything other than a small region around our office in Boston could be under Sean's direction very soon if I play my cards right. So far, I am proving to be a good card player in this instance but we shall see. Wish me luck :)

I really despise musical elitists. I listen to music at least 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and at least 8 hours total on the weekend. Please don't pretend your tastes are better than mine: they're just tastes, and I have likely heard your cool "underground" band's CD 3 times in the last month. Just enjoy the music and quit the elitist garbage!

Cool underground is a funny term to me. I will say that from the description you gave the dude sounds like a tool; however, if you were an elitist in the sense that you really only liked musicians with serious, serious chops that is something I can respect. Of course no underground anything from the past 15 years can fit that definition.

Obviously by chops I don't mean lamb chops :D

With the exception of the Indie scene (which is just Indie being Indie; the music isn't mass marketable, although it's growing on people lately), there aren't any good underground artists, because as soon as anyone likes them, they get signed. Information and opinions travel too fast to stay good and unknown for very long.

Also, if you can't enjoy good classical music, your opinion on music doesn't matter to me; you are clearly missing some "taste buds". :)

I like lamb chops.

But I would kill that sock puppet in a heartbeat.

so it appears I need more practice before I go to the casino again, I did ok at first but just couldn't catch anything that was suited together or pocketed really. Oh well, back to online poker...I'm up 3k. lol

Oh lord, you went to the casino already? I have a friend that has two jobs. The first is doing vibration analysis and the second is playing poker. With the influx of popularity on hold

I hate that too . I will listen to anything , doesn't mean I have to like it . But I will still listen , and can appreciate good musicianship when it is present. But I have some wierd musical taste , and some of the stranges mix cd's on the face of the planet to prove it :)

I am going to where our KS friend has never been. Off to the lake to get stinkin' drunk and relax. Wifey and me both took the afternoon off. See you all later :D

Sounds like a good time, if only I was closer.

I wish I could go to the lake. I wanted to go this weekend but I don't think enough people want to go. I want a boat so bad :(.

Anyways, have fun my friend. :woot: :woot:
