Need to go to Ratshack to pick up a wallwart for my sound card too, I have the USB cable but no power for it :(

If you don't need it soon, PE has quite a few for cheap... I'd much rather buy there than radio shaft.

pucking bastards, left me alone to polish the damn fuel lines so he could go play with a rifle, while trying to hold the lines with my feet the wire brush on the drill catches my shoe and jerks the brush under my leg.

wire brush + high RPM + flesh = not good

So I've got one crossover ready to solder, and then I realize I don't have any. So now I have to go back into work and get some solder.

Me = pwned.

lol, pants wouldn't have helped, not wearing socks would have, after digging into my skin the brush grabbed the sock and pulled itself even harder into the leg, don't get me wrong, i let go of the trigger on the drill but that was wayyyyy too late

I won't need it for another week anyhow, and I'd need to pick up a new 1/8" to RCAs cable as I can't find the one I had...it was falling apart anyway, I never bought a good one.

My soundcard has an optical output, but what do I have that has an optical input on it :P

There's a couple good deals on reel-to-reel stuff around here...

I do need a project for the winter...hmm

reel-to-reel stuff eh?

Can you even find recordings on reel?

Actually if I walked into someones house and saw that and didn't know much about audio, I'd be a little wary about their sanity.

On Ebay, sure. Elsewhere, eh. Vinyl pretty much wallops it for what's available, and unlike LP's there's really nobody releasing stuff on tape now.

The same could be said about your BIB's :D

Oh so true. But hell, even I question my sanity.

But just got a 2nd order at 5khz LR crossover built for the BIB's *only one done* and much to my disappointment the tweeter seems rather harsh.

Needless to say I played with some test tones on the IASCA SQ disk...

Needless to say about 18hz the floor starts moving some real output starts ~20hz... 40hz in my house is downright devastating.
