Sean, you interested in an Oink invite?

I've got a few more, and I'd rather they go to SSA peepz first...:)

My entertainment center is far from entertaining. It is pissing me off beyond belief.

As long as you can seed stuff, it's the best source I've found online for lossless albums.

Bah, just throw together a Flexy-Rack and be done with it :D

Don't worry, no matter how big you build it, as soon as it's done you'll be wishing you had more room.

At least that's how mine turned out, I didn't count on the amps needing as much clearance for dissipating heat as they do :)

Of course, if I had the room I'd like I would put the amps on butcher block floor stands, but there ain't no way that's happening in a college apartment :P

You have no idea how close I am to scrapping this one and doing that. This has pissed me off beyond belief.

My question is will a Flexy-Rack hold a 27" CRT TV??

if you say you're going to call me in an hour, call me in an hour. Do not call me 2.5 hours later and wonder why the hell i'm not answering the phone.

He's lucky he has a cheap ass apt. This guy still worries me though.

*wants a new car project

what're you thinkin of?

Something old

you've gotta give me more details than that :P

Okay, most likely something from 1965 - 1969. Thinking about something that I can customize a bit more than a Pantera. I really want one, but don't think I will have 80g's laying around to do what I need to anytime soon. Less of a sacrifice to do something more common. As for the details I am really not sure what I want yet.

It depends on the availability of good SLA suspension parts

Bang for the buck engine and transmission

Looks & i prefer a bit of originality and something that I can add my own flair to

I'd prefer dual 18's IB as well with a three way front stage :ohnoes9:

Drivetrain and suspension will probably make the pick for me.

Might I add, American built!

sounds like a good plan :fing34:

can't wait to see what you do

All I could think when you wrote this was chevy corvair wagon.

I did forget to state what I thought everyone would assume. It has to handle better and be faster than the M when I am done. I won't take a step back.

a little cliche but a 69 Camaro

the truck-arm rear suspension will set it apart some, and is supposed to handle quite well, you could also go the IRS route (atleast a couple kits made for this)

My roommate just called me and woke my ass up. He called to tell me that our cable for interent/cable outside of the house in the alley is cut into two pieces. Why the hell do I give a fudge, I can't fix the damn thing. Call the fricking cable company!!!!

I don't like the squared off wheel wells. 67-68 would be okay but they almost have an Eleanor like problem in that every asshole has built one.

IRS is a definite possibility, but if not at least a watts in the rear and sla conversion in the front.

Options:

65-69 Mustang -- ruined by Eleanor, but still not completely out of the question

67-68 Cougar -- perhaps the current front runner only I still can't quite get over the nose

70-72 Barracuda -- I am worried about getting one to handle

70-71 Challenger -- although even a junked one is absurdly expensive and the suspension kits are pretty lame for Mopars

Firebird -- out considering my buddy is building one

67-68 Camaro -- too many of these have been built

Falcon & Maverick -- I just can't go that far

63-64, 66 Fairlane/Cyclone -- I go back and forth on these, but part of me really likes the option

Ranchero -- while I like them, I want a backseat

Torino is too close to the Galaxy and another Galaxy is out of the question as well

As you can tell I have a bit of an oval preference, but am not only looking at them. I am sure there are other options and an open for suggestions, please!

Now, I need to shop for driveline stuff. At the moment the only part there I really have picked out is a T56 of some variety.

We own a 31 & 26 Ford. The 31 is a convert complete with trundle seat and the 26 only has 2k miles.

I want a hardtop and not a convert so it won't work. Plus I want a slightly more modern rod.

While the GS could be interesting, it is too big and clunky. If I go big and clunky I will replace the Galaxy with another even though currently that is not an option.
