J, I say take it!!!

I just got a job offer also, 4 days into my current job. It would be back doing almost the same thing I was doing for the research lab, with a 1 mile commute!!

Bad ass! Things are looking up for the both of us. Now to get my back up to par...

I hope so!! What sucks is that I will not have the sled paid off before we buy Amanda a new car. Which means 2 payments at once :(

1 mile sounds good to me - similar benefits and such?

Job offers all over this board lately - I just got a nice one for May through the end of August. It isn't an offer anymore, though ... because I took it.

Well I just left Scandia (Naval Contractor) for this job. Took a pay cut (about 8.5k), 1/2 the commute (not far from amanda), great benifits, better boss, much better atmosphere. own office etc. This new job offer is at an Army contractor, off base right next to my home almost, great benifits, equal to if not better money than what I was making at the Naval Contractor, doing back what I was doing at the research lab. I worry because the current job fought pretty hard to bring me in, and they have really put a lot of responsibilty on my shoulders along with heading up upgrading and improving development and CAD software. I would hate to bolt on two different jobs back to back for a 3rd after many streaches in the past have a great deal of trouble finding just one, and even the ones I found were way below my skill set or schooling.

Don't worry about the company you're at now. Trust me, no matter how hard you work for them, they will NEVER hesitate to fire you if the need arises. And they won't feel bad about it either. Take the new job if you want to and don't worry about backing out on others. It's just the way it goes.

Good morning.

Dennis, are you high?

I made the mistake of doing my gf a couple times while she had a cold. I am now sick.

Is SSA lagging or is it just me?

man it's great to see you guys again can't believe I was gone for so long. Godsmack thx for the advice but I have a feeling I'm gonna end the relationship or at least say we go back to both being single and just taking her out on dates and such. Also, I need to find a new job. I seriously wish best buy would have called me back b/c I would have loved to been a computer tech errr geek squad whatever you wanna call it. My job right now just blows I've been there almost 2 years and it's getting to me. I think I should just go get my A+ and see what I can do. I have a certificate from my college that says I can troubleshoot pc's but I guess people would rather see an A+ ya know.

Justin grats on the job bro I know you've been looking for a while now.

Dre when did you get a new avatar =p.

were the heck is ol jim around these days, sold the klipsch's yet?

Oh and if anyone wants to buy my zapco's let me know...for you I'll do 200shipped to your door B) :P

I'd agree, but I'd do it on good terms. Tell them your intentions, but be sure to be flexible and helpful in the leaving process. It shouldn't be too hard for them to understand considering the difference in offers.
