8% of total US production is a pretty big deal... and OPEC said they will up their production to make up for it.

Oil prices dropped today once the terrorist plot was exposed.

If the tree huggers would allow Gulf drilling and more Alaskan production oil prices for the US would go down a LOT.

BUT NOOO.

pucking tree huggers....that is the main reason I dont want an econobox...I dont want to look like a tree hugger.

Anyone whom asks mommy and daddy for handouts deserves a slap.

I wouldnt be asking for hand outs. They are going to spend a bunch of money on chit I dont want and will straight up tell them I dont want it...why not help me with something I really want.

How about this... tell them to put that money in a trust fund for college, where it will really matter... and work to buy your own chit

Except that I've been saving for college since I was 10... And I'm getting a 75% scolarship for grades... And my grandparents started some IRA for college for me when I was 2...

And if I pass my AP exam with a decent score I get 5 Credits just from that... I am thinking of taking Freashman Comp online as well during next semester of my senior year.

I dont need any more college money.

I have twice that in educational debt alone... and I worked throughout school, and cost of living here is peanuts compared to anywhere else in North America.

Sorry to say, even with a basically free ride through school, unless you want to work a ton and have grades that hurt, you will need a lot of money to support you.

It cost Florida Citizen's ~80,000 to get a bachelor's degree today. That includes living.

I had saved $35k by the time I went to school and still left with $50k in debt. I worked 40 hours a week while in school as well.

And what kind of scolarships did you have? I have all of my tuition paid for. and 75% of my living. Then I have ~20k to cover the other 25%.

What's good is by the time you reach higher chem you dont have a book, you have a lab guide handbook. MUCH cheaper.

$3.15 a gallon sucks though. :(

Sit down, do the math and figure out exactly how many miles it takes to make a more fuel efficient vehicle pay for itself (its a LOT)

You still don't fully realize yet how much college costs do you.
