Aaron you have successfully made me watch more Ebay auctions in the past two days then I have in the past two years.

sorry, I love window shopping for other people when I cannot afford it,

I am living vicariously through Ramos and his RF collection.

No worries, I like it. As soon as I move houses I will be set to do something, of course if the right deal rolls around now :)

I just buy all the old rf amps I find to make people look at me funny, when they open the closet door. Thinking it's the bathroom. And see all the amps in there :)

Just had a one hour call with my boss's boss to let him know I wasn't super happy. Opened the discussion of putting me directly under him, 1 step under the prez! We shall see what happens in the next two weeks, it could be interesting.

No one can go into the amp closet and live to tell about it :)

Would mean more time in Detroit and SoCal though. Not sure I love the idea of Detroit, but it would open up a HUGE customer base to me and a reason to visit all of the automotive engineering labs.

CB, you should really try to listen to tracks other than the top 40 ones off of the CD's you NP. IMO you are picking some of the worst songs on a lot of the albums.

I bet Ramos has enough amps in his collection he has a combo i can use

I have more old rf amps (most fully functioning , some don't as I can't find parts for them) than I care to admit ;):)

i've got to get around...

might be changing jobs, getting back into the welding/fabrication field. i have an interview/weld test if i want to go today....

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

My bro-in-law welds stainless for a living, which makes me really want to open up an outdoor kitchen consulting/installation company.

i've welded on just about every metal you can think of, with just about every kind of weld you can name..lol...SS is awesome to weld on though. it's soft, but it lays sweet....

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Doesn't lay for chit when I try :) Not much practice though and I only have an Oxy-Ace torch.

i hope your using the oxy/ace to braze and not cut SS....it'll just melt..

and i've never really brazed, but they say it's alot like TIG..gotta make sure your adding enough rod to get it "dime" up...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Detroit sucks, but they have some really cool labs that are huge. San Jose, CO, and MN are all similar in our labs with of course the density in SV being higher. Fun companies to go into though.
