What is wrong with both!

The port breathing is my main concern, I dont want to make hte box a funky shape (fitting the tranny hump and the seat mounts) so if i go double layre i'll be adding a lot of length to the box. 8" port and I want to give it at least 10" of breathing room.

It was pretty slow on the lake yesterday since the AM started out with thunderstorms, but here are a couple of talent shots for you all.

maybe I'll go double on the back too since its large, the rest are kinda skinny so I dont know how much I will gain by going double anyway besides loosing space.

It is always hard to take pictures without looking like a perve. Just point the camera and hip shoot hoping to get some good ones.

So if i run a tripple front and a double back and single everywhere else, resin and all thread and figure out how to brace that damn port when it has daily tuning (gonna be like 25" long) I end up with a 44" long box. The truck is 53" wide...damn it.

I'm glad my amps are out of sight though.

I'md deciding on a finish too. Epoxy with a speckle or the standard truck bed. Maybe I should go for carpeting once.

I'm getting a crazy high F3 in WinISD.

Either WinISD is homo or I need to look at a bigger box.

IBTF.

Hmmmm, decisions decisions... Should I double up MDF and save money on bracing but kill space (and possibly make the box too long for the port to breath effectively) or should I do single MDF, resin and and brace with 1/2" all thread?

Is this going in your mini truck? If so use some threaded metal rods and bolts to brace. Dont use the MDF to brace. Use the notmal truck box, subs forward and ports up. Resin the entire box insire and out.

heard a story about the xb's...

seems the people who designed it were so infatuatied with the schevy astro van, the xb was designed to look as close to it as they could....

too bad they aren't as loud......well, then again, i didn't see an xb with a wall...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

I think ive got it. Double baffl,e single everywhere else, 4 rods of all thread connecting the front and back baffle. Two for the sides andthee or four for the top and bottom. Resoning the inside and rounding all corners. 4.5cuft@34Hz will be the starting volume/frequincy and what ever I end up after time on the mic. Shortening hte port inch by inch untill I see a steady drop then porting to the loudest frequincy.

I wish I was allowed to remove interior panels :(
