Oh and there is a turbo kit for the 4cyl S10 that make them put down over 250 to the ground with little tuning and 89 octane fule (if memory serves). Timing adjustment, more fule, more boost, and higher octane i'd imagine it would be able to step well into the 300's. 3" open exaust will add a few more ponies too. Intake manifold and heads...Alcohol injection wouldnt hurt either.

I'd imagine you could have a streetable S-10 sitting in the 400hp range with thoes measly little 4cyls...just dont run full boost too often :D.

Or you could just drop a highly modded supercharged 350 like he did . The mickey thompsons , and the tubbed out bed are a dead give away had they bothered to notice . The guy drags it every weekend locally. 400 hp is an understatement :)

supercharged 350 :OhYeah:

light car + lots of hp = beat the crap out of everything.

one of the locals here built a race car with a mk2 golf gti ( 4 cyl 110 hp engine ). tube chassis. and took it out to race. he managed to beat every car in the class he entered.

Which is fine by me . more racing = less crowded fishing spots for me :)

i hope we get that Nascar track then

:ehh:

One of the biggest tracks (if not the biggest track) in the south east is in one of the lesser redneck areas of FL... :wacky:

I never really got Nascar...driving in cirlcles for hours on end. :ughdunno:

Drag racing i only get because i can see it is a penis race.

AutoX, Hill Climb, etc FTW!

The REAL rednecks only follow NASCAR (tickets aint cheap), they listen to it and watch it on TV. Real Rednecks race FASTCAR...NASCAR on smaller tracks with 'neckrigged cars and stripped out old beaters.

Hello SSA world. It has gone mad dramatic elsewhere in the networld, so I came here for some partial sanity.

My coffee was good, but the day is already hot. I have one employee I must get rid of today as well, so things are shaping up to be just fine and pucking dandy bishes.

Dude , Bristol is 2.5 hours south west. Martinsville is .5 hours south. Charlotte, Rockingham, And the home of nascar is 1.5 hours south. Dave Edward works for the company that owns the largest "neck " track around. We have 5 others within a 45 minute drive and 7 dragstrips within a 45 minute drive. I see a few red neck racin fans :)

Not the biggest ( taladega ) and not the same track it started out as . Half of Daytona raceway used to be on the beach. Go back to that style and I might actually watch a race :)

got my new toys :woot:

Now I get to figure out how to set every up...damn thing has a million adjustments...

No pics until I bring everything back to B'burg. No point seeing the mess I've got here just to test stuff. And the stereo I'm using isn't too great.

sq is so biased towards the install rather then the sound quality it isn't even funny. i dunno why someone would even try to compete in sq anymore...unless they had unlimited fundage...

i'll let you in on the car i'm looking for though....

has to be after 1975, but i want/need a 75-80 ford pinto cruising wagon....

don't laugh, but i have a few ideas and that car is perfect for them.....

well, go ahead and laugh, it's cool...lol...i laugh at it too....

even got a name picked out for the car, but that will stay a secret until i get it done...

muhahahahhahahhaah, the name alone should be worth 10dbs...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

you had better not be going to the dark side..... the blue oval

Were a lot of nice rides there, too many people pucking around so there weren't many chances to get any sort of decent pictures.
