That would be great, but her last name is Varadarajulu so if so she will be an exotic hotty. More likely a frumpy hindi instead.

If I get off my arse, I am going to pull the analyzer out and measure the truck. I always like to tune by ear first and then see what I might have missed...

Actually the analyzer is in a rack in my garage, I just need to bring down a monitor. Unhooking it from the wall sucks though.

Anyone have any harsh words about my pyramid diffuser idea? I am sure it won't "help" other than to seriously extend the life of the drivers.

I wanted to do more of a shorn design, but couldn't find chit to help me figure that out. And of course the budget for the pair is sub $100.

First time trying this side of the coin on my own. I have competed in SPL moons ago , but never sq . I have built parts for sq cars ( kicks , enclosures , pods , yada yada ) but never an entire sq install of my own, or on my own for that matter. I have been playing with different ideas here and there in the chit box for the past 5 or 6 months. Think I have all the bugs worked out and am ready to git er' dun for real this go round . Goal is best possible two seat image, with minimal processing. Use of all seats in the vehicle. And an onobtrusive look from peering eyes. Think I have a pretty firm grasp of how to get the sound I'm after. And the look I want. Just gotta get of my lazy arse and do it to it. :)

Those pre-made outdoor speakers from PE use something similar except it's round. I think it might actually help , but would probably need to be closer to do anything. Can always play around with the leg length to see if it does hinder or help. :)

Yep, thats why the bottom shelf/pyramid support is not fixed to the legs in any way than screws so I can move it. I am sure a parabolic slope would be better than a 45, but I am too lazy to glass anything but might tromp around a few stores to see if I can find something else I can use.

Either way in the end it will be a learning experience, I will be sure to post free field results on axis and then after the diffuser. We shall see....

If anyone has better ideas, or chit any ideas please keep 'em coming.

Me neither, but I will look anyway. Will be good crossover design practice as I haven't even tried that in over 10 years.

Me = not putting a dime more into the vehicle, I are done with car audio for a while.

If you want to come by and help me set up the vinyl rig, we could have another listening session at my place...especially if you brought the special stuff... :rofl2:

Although I cringe at setting up a turntable after a couple drinks...

"Yeah, that stylus looks good..." when it's 90 degrees off :D
