Welcome to the IHoP

IT's been hot as shit around here lately with the humidity about equal to the temp. Anyone who knows what that means knows how crappy it is. And my shop doors face North and South, so there is basically ZERO air movement. And all the "immigrants" don't know about personal hygiene (read DEODORANT), so you can immagine how shitty my workday is.

ANd I have $300 worth of aluminum waiting to be shipped, which should have been shipped weeks ago. Oh well, it'll take me a while to do anything with it anyways.

Got the new edition of CA&E today.  Tested two amps with "ICE" power.  Eclipse and Pioneer PRS.  THe Eclipse had sad response below 40Hz and the Pioneer wasn't worth a chit above 12K.  WTF???!!!  They claim full range and list it on the specs, and they are CEA compliant.  THis upsets me.  I guess we need a standard spec for frequency response as well on the CEA chart.

The only ICE i know if is In Car Entertainment

Looking at getting a Ninja250R.  Perfect for someone like me who has NO riding experience.  Gets 68mpg too!  Big plus.  Insurance is cheap, they are light and agile, and not enough power to get too much speed going, but I have talked to a couple people who've owned them and they say they are rather quick.

I think this will fit me nicely as it allows for plenty of room to upgrade, yet not go overboard, and I've always like the older, small displacement GP bikes from the mid to late 80s and early 90s.

Go for it.

Get the feel for it and move on up as you feel comfortable. They're nice bikes :)

I need to find out the dimensions/cutout on the 8"s, but memphis' site sucks :(

unless you can find a store that has them in stock, you are SOL for now. they are backordered from memphis...we are waiting on a set for a highlander....

btw....the sync cutouts are the same as the mclass.....

I am now OFFICIALLY NOT a fan of MA Audio.

This is going to Ebay.

what happened to it?

Well, for starters, it can't handle this heat in my trunk. Never had any problems with this weather before with ANY other amp I've ever used. And there is some problems with the crossovers in the amp not being what they are labled and how, ah, nevermind, too much stuff that all pissed me off on my half-hour drive home today, and all were directly related to this amp.
