I'm going to try and get a couple little videos of the uber with the camera. No sound, short videos ... it's a still camera, but we'll see how they turn out.

Okay, one frustrating thing with the 880.  There are no RCA inputs on the rear for the Satellite/Ipod whatever.  I have a satellite radio and am currently using the FM modulator--boo.  The manual says nothing, but is there some IP-Bus adapter that will just give me an RCA input?  The specs on the 880 say two inputs and I know there is one on the front, but wtf???

yeah, Pioneer makes a little adapter for that

IP-Bus to RCA

That is good anyway, I am sure they will give me the dumbest look ever if I go into BBuy and ask for one though. :(

Going to see how far the bidding goes up in the next few days. I'd rather not pick up another single ended amp as I already have the SV811's, but...that's f'ing beautiful. And I've only seen one other 829B-based amp before.

Of course, now that I've said something about it, some jakcalope will drive up the bidding to over $1k and make me not afford it. That's usually what happens if I say anything :P

well, either my window is really, really gooed up by eDead now, or the window motor died

fuck

had that happen in my old car never fixed it...just stuck a pen in it and left it that way

it's my driver's window, and i hate driving with the windows up

Though i enjoy driving with my window down ive found that when cruising long distances over 50-55 its best to run the AC on low.

But how does eDead get gooed up in your window? was it mat or the liquid stuff?

mat

heat = melted tar

melted tar = eDead falls off panel and lands on window

eDead gets stuck at top edge of outer door panel and adheres itself to the window

ohh, bad. Not fun either.

I havent had any problems with my second skin though. I did some research and when i found damplifier withstands the most heat out of any other dampening product and it was cheaper than Dynamat and alot others with better dampening properties than brown bread and almost as cheap i went ahead and bought 80sq feet. now i have like 20sq feet lying around and im trying to decide where to do it.

Anyway, best of luck to you. :badmood2:

There's a Mac 240 in mint condition, currently at $750 with a couple hours to go.

But it's...boring. Just another push-pull tetrode amp if it weren't for the name :)

And I've got a matched set of 12ax7's too. About the best ones you can get from what I understand, I love 'em.

Most 12V signal tubes are the same size...12AU7, 'AT7, 'AY7, 'AX7 tubes all fit into the same socket and take the same voltages, the only difference is the amount of gain.

ok so here is the tally

300lbs in battery

120lbs in woofage

probably 160lbs in enclosure

20lbs in ampage

another 20lbs in wire

and 200lbs in operator.

I bet that CRX wasnt born thinking it would carry 820lbs of stuff. :wacky:

reguardless, 4 people in my buddies CRX when he had itmade it go from quick to mediocure with a B16...and the suspension squated.

That was probably~650lbs and he had stiffer suspension than stock.
