Got an idea for ya'll, I want your opinion on if its good, bad, stupid, what...

Ok, so when I get back from georgia, I'm gonna get started on my 3-ways for the dorm next year. I just wondered (came up with this while I was in the shower) if making spherical enclosures for the sub/mid would be worthwhile, or just wasting my time. The construction would be outa fiberglass. Since to my knowledge the best enclosure is a sphere, I was wondering if this would be smart to implement or not?
