Went to a thrift store today... saw something that interested me.

They had a vacuum tube volt meter, is that for measuring vacuum tubes, or does it use vacuum tubes. I'm stupid here...

I saw a radio that I about bought too... It was old enough it used tubes... I'm a big fan of the old radio's, don't know why though. It also had a turn table in it too, it had a single 8"? speaker in it, not even in an enclosure, just mounted to the damn front. Looked pretty cool, I liked it, cabinet was decently well constructed and in decent shape, only one knob was missing off of the controls. It said 45wrms on the sticker on it... Almost bought it for the hell of it, still might buy it if its still there when I leave to go home for easter.

Just rambling...

Nothing yet - looks like they want to fudge me around with the Acers.

Still leaning heavily towards the Toshiba.

it is so god damned cold outside,  the install is beyond ghetto, but i have to finish before i go home so i have some sort of sound

I feel your pain. My hands are frozen and I can do no more. 45 ain't bad, but when the wind is gusting around 35MPH, it get's chilly quick. Worst part of my day, I had to spend 2 hours cleaning and condensing my glue bottles because the stuff was so dried and clunked up in the applicator tips, it wouldn't even flow. Piss.

wind chill was 32 here, 36 without wind though, my install is beyond ghetto, and i have no sound from my right tweet fudge it.

i hope its an rca that came unplugged or something like that, if not i swear i'm selling everything, and i'm not even close to joking

Normally my job or some of our Canadian friends to complain about the weather, but it was 60 here and is going up to 70 by Monday. Beautiful and sunny!

We still have the up/down bullshit. 30 one day, 70 the next. GAH.

I dont mind rain if its only for a short period.

But when it lasts for hours i hate it

driving through big puddles is fun with a truck, not with a car.

You are more prone to an accident too.

Especially when it just starts to rain

You'd hate Vancouver Island ... Winter = 4-7 days a week of rain ...

Oregon is the same way with the rain. My trip to Florida during spring break was heaven.
