My roommate thinks its kina excessive.... I don't play it too loud when hes in here, but when he leaves all hell breaks loose, and for the most part, we like the same types of music, which is good.

Best build a rack for that stuff before the plywood decides it's had enough. It looks like it's having major self-esteem problems ;)

I'll see if I still have pictures of my chit when I was in the dorms...don't know if I saved any of those pictures or not.

Naa, the plywood is good the way it is currently, The previous use is the reason why it is bowed in the middle, the Behringer amp isn't putting any weight really in the middle. All the wieght is carried by the knee braces and the 2x4 loft construction. Its sturdier than it looks

I'm not near as worried about the ugliness anymore as finding enough weight to put on top of it. That thing bounces around like a mofo!!

I used 3/4" MDF, way to excessive but it was scrap wood.

It doesnt bounce at all, but its ported too and that sucker gets pretty loud for how small it is

I was amazed at how this little e8a sounds sealed. I was also amazed on how it jumps around.... All that power dosen't help either.... lol

I don't have the room for a ported box right now.... Maybe next year.

My neighbor decided to blast 50 Cent to wake me up...

I hope he likes Vivaldi.

At 115+ dB.

So happy to have my laptop back!

That took forever!

6 months, but I can't really complain. I got the part at cost, and didn't have to pay for labor. It took him 4 months to get a motherboard and Gateway would not come off their source until they became a factory authorized Gateway service center. Needless to say, $380 and 6 months later, now I'm at a total investment of $1080 and the thing is still worth a good $1500+.

'89LX.  It currently houses a 160K 5.0 and 5 speed.  MY bro is taking the tranny and pedal assembly, and I always wanted to build a turbo 2.3 having owned several in the past and loving them.

Sounds sweet, would love to see it.

Sean, those brakes look beefy.

Im guessing the ones on the right are for the front since they are larger.

The calipers on my accord are painted black, you cant see them at all but they dont stand out like a ugly non painted one.

If you can, definetly go with red, it will look sweet.

Hmmm, I like the idea of the stealth clean look. Wish I was good with the airbrush I'd do 'em black with a logo.

Well, the preamp's in as the pictures show.

Turntable is scheduled for delivery in about two weeks, along with teh monoblocks...

Now I just need a place to put all this chit...perhaps convince my dad to build me a set of shelves, or else I won't re-wire the furnace blower motors :)

We operate that way a lot, he won't touch anything electrical the same as I try to avoid woodworking whenever possible. Works out well.
