FSM's are the best thing ever.

Just to bad only a select few can acess them.

i used to have a phone number for a place that would sell the FSM's, just about any car ever made too. $100/set of 3 i talked my gf at the time into ordering a set for the daytona. Suga mommas are the best

yes, it was just little things like an air vent and a broken power window switch.

I really need some FSM's if they happened to have those though.

FSM's?

Factory Service Manual

usually a set of three books that are worth their weight in gold when working on a car, think of a haynes or chilton on serious steroids.

oh yeah

i know people that have those for Impalas/Caprices

all i can say is check ebay

Ok so my solidworks knowledge has increased to about 1/10  My goal for today was the learn to use it enough to model up my boxes (i like being able to see them)

here's a preview, i added the woodgrain for chits and giggles

if anyone has a box that they might want me to do (thats very simple) i'll do one or two for practice for ya

note: unlike everyone else on certain other forums i wont be trying to sell these, this is purely for my own benefit

that looks pretty sweet man

the solidworks thing is ultimately useless, but it at least lets me see the box and get an idea of the port and everything.

Where it really comes in handy is checking the net volume, once you've made everything to scale just click a few buttons and viola you have all those measurements that usually take me 30min to do on paper

I tried a labernyth port, they are a pain to make. Everything has to be dead on or else it doesnt fit right. If you want to ghetto wire it you cant put the wire through the port like an L.

L is so much eaiser.

my next box will have round pvc ports. Just because i've never tried them, i have my L slot port now (even though i screwed up the internal volume BAD) and i ran my triangle ports before. Now its time to try round ones

Easily the loudest setup Ive heard. And the sq was lacking for me (I love my Rl-ps). I was in the grocery store and walking out and heard the truck, so I walked up to the guy and he opened the rear hatch and low and behold 2 MT 15's. Makes me want to go out and buy a 300 dollar mini van and build a wall.

I would do the same if i still had the brahmas.

They got nasty loud

The thing is....

There is a certian point you reach where the subs sound like they only make one note and its really loud. You cant really hear the " sq" of it because its just to loud.
