oh holy chit ok so here's the note i left the cousin...with his added comments. I wrote the "hey druggies get the fudge out of my room" note that i left this on my bed and the door was locked, i did not leave it for them, i left it to see if htey were coming in my room. here's the note now

IIRC I need the most basic Windows Media Player, not WMP 10, to play .avi files with sound ... right?

The WMP (10) I believe will play the video, but not sound.

I've got Top Gun to watch

I use wmp10 and avi's work just fine for me IIRC. Might need a plugin or something.
