sorry for my absense this week, life and work is getting in the way,

update:

-tomorrow my mothers suprise 60th b-day party

-got another positive email from the hiring manager for the research lab position that I have been trying to get since February

-still going on a bunch of other interviews and doing tons of random crap, including hi-load forklift driving for an aluminum extrusion plant

Actually.....

The thing that i was talking about isnt even the pic !

I think its the " AIR" system GM uses to blow air through the cats on startup for emmissions.

Thats why i wanted to talk to Tom about it, popular mod on Imps to remove it

P.S

It has the 140A large case alt....w00t w00t

I didn't make any mistake ... I merged the threads together and, when they merged, it came up deleted for some odd reason ...

Coder's fault, not mine ...

If anything, I'm more 1337 than I was earlier today ...

Yeah, it is...Ford used it as their base motor in the F-150/E-150 for a while...up until the late '90s. My dad's '91 F-150 has the same engine, but since it's mounted completely under the hood, it's easier to work on. Mine is half-shoved under the cab. The alternator is buried under the air intake, and you can't get to the plugs unless you take the cowl that's under the dashboard off.
