Ok so here is my delemma. I just installed a crunch gp3000pro (new) and 12" btl (new), however the amp has no output. It powers on but that is all. I tried switching amps, no change. I tried a different sub and nothing. I changed rca cables and once again nothing. The head unit is a pioneer 980BT. The head unit is new also, but could this be the cause of my problem, or maybe wiring? I have a four channel hooked up as well and it works fine. The sub is d2 wired in parallel to 1 ohm which i checked as well. I am running out of ideas on what to troubleshoot so any ideas are greatly appreciated.

not the best guy on here but it could be your hu try putting the rca cables where the 4 channel amp is conected to the hu to see if there is signal if not it could be a missup wire somewhere but if id does work check the hu for some settings

i agree with bigjon,...find another means of feeding a signal through your rca jacks and into the amp......1/8" stear to rca adapter easily found at radioshack.....then u can use anything that has a headphone jack to feed ur signal......

if you switched amps and rcas it has to be the head unit. as dbjunior said, some head units have off/on switches for the sub out.

That's what is sounds like, my Jensen turns my mono block on but no sound comes out until I turn the low pass filter on.
