Saz 3000d vs. Powerbass 3000d

Hey guys,

I was wondering about the difference between these 2 amps. My box for the 2 18" Btls is in the proccess of being built, and I am entitled to pick up 2 Powerbass XA 3000d's for 700 bucks a piece (brand new) and I was wondering if they are the equivilent to the Saz 3000d's and will perform as indicated?

Hey Freedy,

I have messed with Powerbass in the past, and they were strong amplifiers. But the new ones I cannot speak on, and I know some changes have been made. The Sundown has a solid record with a heck of a guy behind the company.

I honestly dont believe the PB3000 could keep up with the sundown. however, these are my opinions, not facts-----yet

look in the for sale section i think there is a saz3000d in there for 750. the saz will do over 3k and the pb will do a little less than 3k as far as reliability you cant go wrong with the saz. just keep an eye on the for sale section

i don't know a thing about the construction of amps, but if i had to guess more guts = more better! like jon said

lets put it this way i had access to a powerbass 3kw at the shop for cheap since i work there but paid double to get a sundown

did you clamp the 3000d to do more than 3k or are you just talking outta your ass. the powerbass amps are still a very decent amp for the price....

honestly tough decision but id spend a couple more and get the saz.
