how to meassure rms on a amp??

well guys i just purchase a used amp kicker amp by the way. i realize on the birth sheet it says 2800 rms its a kicker KX2500.1 but it has a little sticker on the name of it and i can see in the back it says kx600.1 but thats my question colud kicker miss up on paper and just a sticker to it or the one who sold it to me made a copy and just stick a paper saying kx2500.1. so how can a meassure if its true?

Who did you buy it from? They could have had a 2500.1 and sold you the 600.1 with the birthsheet of the 2500. Compare the dimensions of your amp with the specs on kickers website.

its the kx 2500.1 HUGE!!! :) 30" long but want to know how much rms it really pushes beacuse in the future i want to run a btl 18" for now i have " i know some of you guys are gonna scream and say waist of money on subs but there 2 L5 15they came with the amp" but there only temporary till i buy a alternator 200+

Those subs will work fine. I would go with a BTL though. :) The reason they include the birthsheet is to show how many watts THAT amp pushes, so it probably does 2800 watts. My Rockford P400.4 is underrated 30 watts per channel.
