2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Sundown Audio Install

This install is in a 2007 2500HD with every factory option available. (Pleather, Nav, DVD, Blows Stereo, etc) The customer simply wanted to add a little more bass so we threw in a Sundown Audio SAE-1000D and a pair of subs. Anyone who has done an install in one of these trucks will know how little space there is for anything so the 1000D and its small footprint is the perfect solution. I am not a fan of factory speakers by any stretch of the imagination but the Silverado factory "Blows" speakers aren't too bad. Enclosure by James Taylor.

What do you guys use to secure that 'amp rack' to the metal there?

What do you guys use to secure that 'amp rack' to the metal there?

If factory bolts are near by you can strap the rack to those locations. In some cases where it is necessary to drill I recommend Stainless screws or bolts, and silicone.
