Well it was part user error w/ gains to high possibly? So it's not all the amp :P

I've caught a sub on fire before, bout 6 yrs ago.

Smoke was rollin out of both ports. Burnt straight through the spider at both terminal leads.

Cause- excessive clipping below tuning.

Time taken to cause this once bass started - approximately 20 seconds.

its not protecting anybody cuz people will end up buyin tha same amp and it doing the same thing ^ lol
