question about a blowthrough

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, I was browsing steve meades forum and came across someones system on the system of the month, february 2008. It has 2 18's in a blowthrough, but in order to fit the 2 18's they are slightly angled as well as the port (or at least the port looks like it), does this have any effect on the output or cause some other negative effect?

Just curious, would be fun to use 18's instead of 15's.

It will work fine, you won't notice any differences...audibly at least.

Thanks!

great, thanks....i know i might lose some more room in the back but it would be cooler to say i am running 18s, lol!.

one more question, would it matter if they were angled down as opposed to angled up?

\ versus / on the front baffle.

would angled \ be better cause it will use the bottom of the ground kinda like a base and help from losing quite so much of the output?

I'd angle it the same as the windshield is..

Yeahhh, I wanna use 18's for some unknown reason....probably that only 2 people in my town have 18's and they suck, lol. So i thought if i slightly angle them and do a port straight into the blowthrough it would work out pretty well.
