IB specific line? Do tell.

Recommended Posts

I just caught wind that there is an IB specific line coming out. Will there be a 10" version available? Got any x-max or power handling numbers yet? I would just love to do three 10's IB so I could regain the use of my trunk. Thanks for any info.

SSD line will have option in the next couple of days. Single 2 Ohm first and dual 2 after that (waiting on coils). No cost option.

Then we will have a smaller 2" coiled line in 10" 12" and 15". Single 2 right now and dual 2 after that...

Ill get some info up here in a day or two.

Its based off of drivers we have been doing for a little over a year for the Home audio and IB specific markets, but I have seen quite a bit of IB inquiries for cars recently and seems its about time to just get it on the site vs a word of mouth thing on tweeky forums. I have always enjoyed IB applications and had a couple in different vehicles over the years (proper IB setups). Last one was in my wifes car with (2)15"RE SE drivers that I modded. Sounded phenominal... and allowed us to still stuff the trunk full of whatever.

Thanks,

Scott

Cool, I will be anxiously awaiting your next post. Quick question, I have just enough room to do three 10"'s, two 12"'s, or I could even fit one 12" and two 10"'s in the space available. What do you think would work best? Obviously two 10"'s and one 12" would have the most possible cone area, but will I run into problems using different size subs in the same IB setup? Thanks.

BTW the install will be behind the rear seats (which can be folded down) in my '01 Mustang.

How will these compare to the X series? I am presently running the 2 X series 12's in my Celica IB and Love it but I would be scared to send them more than the 300w I am giving them at the moment. (I have about 900w on tap but refuse to wire them that way)

Can I get an updated please, I've seen the 15" and 18" IB drivers, but I still haven't heard anything about the 10" and 12" ones yet. Got any info at all? My current setup takes up my whole trunk, and I really want some of that space back, but I don't want to give up my bass.
