have a box built 37wx37lx28h double baffle on top lots of bracing subs up port back have a port 35.5wx8hx22l. find a local audio shop they should be able to build one for you or one of the guys on here can build one for you. first before getting an amp you will need electrical upgrades like a huge alternator 250amp or bigger an upgraded battery under hood and probably a large second bat located near amp. you will also need the big 3 done in 1/0 and have 2 runs of 1/0 to the back. the look into a 4kw rms amp like the rockford t40001bd or hifonics cyclops or goliath dont buy there lower end stuff though. a saz-3000d would be a good starter amp then bump up to two later if you need more

no dealers for Fi. you have to order online from their site.

or you could probably get in touch with nick or scott and get it ordered.

any local audio shop doesnt matter what they sell should be able to build a box for you just tell them exactly what you want and they should give you a price. or you could ask fisher or pound that sound but shipping might cost a bit

Looks like you are trying to wall off behind the seats? Plenty of space if thats the case. Will you be riding around with the back seats down most of the time?

Thanks,

Scott

well I wanted to wall it off, but If I go with steve meades design in the tahoe Im cool with that....I just wanted advice to the box design, so that when I go to the audio shop, and they are not farmiliar with the subs, they build the box correctly.. is there anything special that the audio shop needs to know about building the box??? ...I could have the seats down, but incase I need to lug a few pplz around I can fit them in the back seat(s). I listen to all low note miami bass music, so I want to get the port correct, tuned to 32 htz daily sub fully loaded :0 you know xxxtra cheeze!!!!

Thanks guys.... will be ordering subs in 2 weeks fing05.gif

If you will run an SAZ-3000D to them, you will not need them to be fully loaded.

If you wanted the fully loaded subs, you could power them with something like a RF T40001bd...

Just make sure you upgrade your electrical (alternator, batteries, wires) appropriately for this kind of power.

I'd recommend somewhere from around 7-9 cu ft per sub net. Tuning at 32 sounds good.

Is this your first big system?

No this is not my first build...this is my old buick with 2 JL 12 W7's....first vid is with the original song lip syncd over the actual sub sound...2nd vid is the original with actual sub sound:

1st Vid:

2nd Vid:

that system was installd by authorized JL\Rockford dealer....but seems that no one around here installs FI BTL's so im trying to get it right :)

If you will run an SAZ-3000D to them, you will not need them to be fully loaded

WHY????

If you wanted the fully loaded subs, you could power them with something like a RF T40001bd

WHY???

whats the difference? I would like to get the SAZ 3000D....everyone talks highly of them...so i will get 1 at first then save for the 2nd.... should take 3 months to save

Thanks again, you are contributing to a bad azz sound system that will play great bass music, not that young zeezy weak crap

Freddy :)

OHHH just kidding dude!

I though you mean power both subs w/ ONE SAZ-3000D.

You will need to fully load them then!

So it'll be:

2 SAZ-3000D

2 fully loaded 18" Fi BTL's

Any electrical upgrades?

yeah i will upgrade the alt and run 0/g wire througout, and i have a deep cycle batt under the hood now, so im guessing ill need 2 more for the back :) cant wait...... I LOVE BASS

so anywhere between 7 and 9 cubes per sub is good?

thanks for all the help

Freddy

Yupp. You can go a lil bit smaller if you want, but I'd try to keep it between 7 and 9!

Good luck.
