ok here is the scenario:

im running 2 BLs off of 2 1000.1 kickers and am gettin some dimmage(only when i turn it up), everything is stock

question(s):

whats the difference between a red top and yellow top(which is better reccommended if at all)? or do i need to get an xtra battery and/or cap?

should i go ahead and attempt the "big 3 upgrade" to see if it helps any?

thx in advance, and sorry, im noob when it comes to this stuff

yellow top is dual purpose, starting and deep cycle duties, and would be the better of the 2

If my choice was limited to just a yellow top, or a red top, I would have to pick the yellow. They were designed solely for purposes like car audio, and racing where they don't run an alternator. It's meant to handle heavy discharges.
