I was always weary about buying audio equip on the net. After hearing nothing but great reviews on Jakes customer service and products I figured I would give Sundown a try. Best thing I ever did!

Originaly when I first heard of Sundown I tossed it aside figureing that like alot of other startup car audio companies it wouldnt last like Mass D and the like. I had a buddy that had a 3000D that he let me test out for quite a wile. and I eventualy bought it off of him I loved it that much. now a days Ive done easily a couple thousand dollars worth of business with Jacob and will have 2 Sundown powered Systems when ever I manage to get the car done with Sundown subs in atleast one. acculay if all goes well and Ive got the car together and I can find someone to run the truck they will both be in the lanes at SVR 2009

i wanted some beefed up nightshades but i wanted subs by the weekend. it could have been done but it would have been close.... to rather then chance it i went with the stock nighshade and im gonna see how close they will be to eachother...

but ill make a hypothesis right now and we can see how it turns out

i think the night shade will out perform the bl's

tripple stacked mags 1500 watts rms and i mean shit man... after owning 2 sundown amps i have nothing but high expectations for these subs....

but if i need more then i will send them back in for a recone... with the "beef" as i like to call it.

get another saz 3000d and see what happend with 6k on a pair!

and if thats not enough... the BEAST are next.... YEAAHHH

Cool, I'll keep my eye's out for when get the nightshade's. I'll have to find a good weekend when I don't have to work, and come down there. It's only about a 1-2 hour drive from here.

Keep me/us updated Jon on how you like the 15" Nightshades.

I've got the custom beefed up 18" Nightshade, one of few made and I freakin love it. I'm running my SAZ 3000D to it .5ohm daily....and I took my 2nd amp, strapped them at 2 ohm for 6000 daily and it took it like a champ for a few days...but no need for that much power daily so I'm backto one amp...but the difference was INSANE.

You won't be dissapointed even with the stock Nightshades...pound for pound they hold their own..

And not to mention Jacob and his A++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Customer Service....I've spent over $2,000 with the man and will continue to buy from him..

Next time I'm around Austin/San Antonio, I'd like to hear your ride...I've always liked installs done in Towncars/Crown Vics...

They're shipping out of Houston, that just means that most likely it missed the cut off for today because of running behind. You can always call them to and they should be able to let you know a little more on it. I'd think that you should still have them tommorrow. That same thing happened here on one of our packages the other day, and that's what they told me.

Just call the 1-800-go-ups. It's automated, so just keep saying random things it can't understand and after about the 3rd attempt it'll send you to an operator. Give them the tracking number, and ask them what they think the problem is and they get you taken care of.

ok lets first start by saying the these subs are heavy... way more then the BL's

AND THAY ARE SO SEXY

they hit much harder then the bl's... i wish i have a tl to i could tell you in number form how much louder thay are..

but i can tell a diffrence with my ear! so in number it would be a big diffrence,

my body feels the change the nightshades rock my car. shit that never moved in now moving ALOT.

the gain is just about where it was with the bl's but i did turn it up just a hair after i compaired.

im not good at reviews but the nightshades are a louder sub.

and i like them alot.
