Nathan's 1999 Toyota Tacoma

Recommended Posts

Sup guys. Any and all suggestions/comments welcome!

Ok this will be a long build w/ occasional updates.

There will be 2 Rockford Fosgate Power 1000's Powering front stage (undecided) and 2 Fi Q 15's.

This is a VERY small truck, so it will be close to a wall, but not really. Each sub will have it's own 4.05 cu ft box tuned to 29.78 htz.

The two boxes will go side by side facing forward in what used to be the back seat (taken out).

It has a 170 amp alt and a Autocraft Titanium Battery.

All wiring will be in 1/0 KnuKonceptz (including already done big 3).

Kenwood Excelon KAC-591 h/u... Already got both subs and one amp. Need to get the other amp.

Truck has 2-5 layers of Dynamat everywhere.

Just for fun, he ran the Termlab on his single Fi Q 15 in a 3.3 cuft box tuned to 33 htz. Outlaw-141.8 sub/port up... 142.1 sub/port forward.

Should be louder in his newer box.

Even louder and lower in these planned boxes!

Pics of his new box/truck (new box is 3.7 @ 33 htz).

Seems things always happen like this.

The day we decide to start the build, he gets in a wreck.

Crossing the highway, a lady turned onto the highway and T-boned him.

He's fine as is all the equipment. His door and fender are screwed though. Might total the truck... it's not worth too much. Sad sad stuff man....

Yeah... hopefully it won't be totaled though...

I'll keep you updated. We will know the condition of the truck in less than a week, and if it fixable the box building will begin!

We've had this build planned forever... and we were just bout to get really started. Then this.

Oh well. It'll all work out.

Wow, sorry to hear the bad news. Question I have is why a pair of 5 channel amps? Or am I reading that wrong...

You aren't.

Honestly, I don't know lol.

I'm thinking he will end up Bi-amping some components. He hasn't decided what yet tho.

I don't really know why though. I think he just wanted something nobody had ever done before. And it will be impressive when it's finished.

Still no news from the insurance company.
